How can international organizations promote global cooperation?

International organizations should be representing not only governments but also people the funding international organizations started with idea of tripartite cooperation for example in ILO, cooperation of governments, employers and employees. however today reality has changed with advancement of communication and technology and vast social media usage and NGOs the cooperation at international level should be formulated by participation and engagement of people through social media, NGOs and governments.

This question assumes global cooperation should be promoted. Should international organizations be promoting cooperation with countries like Russia, Iran, China, and North Korea at this time? Additionally, when considering the promotion of global cooperation on international trade, one must recognize that such trade often accelerates climate change and results in the loss of living wage jobs. It's essential to discuss these concerns and evaluate the pros and cons before concluding that global cooperation is inherently beneficial.

In a globalized world, the role of government and non government internacional organizations is key in promoting economic, social and cultural development, by facilitating dialogue and creating synergies and trust with all involved parties, making it possible to tackle with specific issues that require a coordinated effort.

Less Political and More Non-Governmental Global cooperation in current world is more than essential and important in many prospectives, such as climate change, poverty, pandemic, wars and conflicts, drug, etc. These issues cannot be dealt with and solved by one country, and even by existed international organizations like UN. But fact is the these international organizations, as many as we can image, and spend money out of our imagination and functioned less than the needs. The reasons are mostly over politicalization of them, to some extents, mostly play according to political significance and interests of some big powers, especially US and some EU countries, who dominate the world structure and international issues.

Identifying Goals: Hold consultative meetings with member states and stakeholders. Use surveys to gather broader input. Conduct historical and cultural research for context-sensitive goals. Communication: Outline goals in official documents like charters and make them accessible. Translate documents into all member languages. Use media, including social media, for wide dissemination. Aligning Interests: Organize workshops to align stakeholder interests. Set clear metrics and KPIs for alignment measurement. Establish an open feedback mechanism for concerns and suggestions. Shared Vision: Run public awareness campaigns. Initiate collaborative projects among member states. Reward significant contributions to common goals.

Organizations must place value in human dignity. They must look beyond man made boundaries and political ideologies to address the root causes of biggest challenges facing mankind, namely extreme poverty, inequality, injustice and the environment. If dignity is attached to every human life everywhere the world will be better place to live in.

National Gouvernments inherently distrust most concepts that come from the private sector. This must be overcome by change management and flexibility, awarding those in the public domain that cooperate with the private sector. Specific action plans need to be supplied and validated by other stakeholders (labou unions, etc), or even forced upon them if they resist because of ideological and not because of practical reasons.

I have studied some of cases from WTO dispute settlement body (DSB), and true to the highlighted points in the box on the left, trust and dialogue is at the core of WTO performance. WTO is still yet to firmly resolved the Appellant Body issue and this has somehow undermined the operation of the DSB. Conflicts or disagreements will always come up in any organization, hence there need to trust the process of resolving the differences and remedies offered for the grieved parties.

This would help in delivering on many of the excellent points already made above - building trust, sustaining learning; engaging robustly with key stakeholders, and making meaningful impact.
