Testing a SCORM is actually essential as some bugs don't appear, no matter how many time you tried the course on your computer after publishing, they only appear when it's uploaded on cloud and being run on an online platform, and of course you don't want to handle your clients a bugged version while saying it's the final perfect one!

Personalmente estoy acostumbrado a trabajar con MOODLE y siempre es cierto que aunque se trabaje con un estandard es necesario probarlo siempre en el mayor número posible de plataformas. Pero una vez comprobado no suele haber sustos ni problemas.

Aunque se puede probar con un reproductor SCORM para comprobar la correcta comunicación con el SCORM API, en mi caso puedo decir que todas las versiones de Moodle son compatibles con SCORM 1.2. El unico problema aparecia con las versiones anteriores, el SCORM 2004 porque no estaban soportadas, así que eso sería lo que también habría que tener en cuenta en otros LMS.

Como medida recomendable es necesario verificar que el paquete SCORM utiliza HTTPS, ya que si hace referencia a una dirección HTTP, el navegador impedirá que los usuarios reproduzcan el contenido en la plataforma. Me parece muy interesante que se priorice la seguridad de las conexiones seguras. Tambien hay que tener cuidado de NO incluir más de 15.000 archivos en los paquetes SCORM, pero yo nunca he tenido ese problema, la verdad.
