Additionally, I collaborate with colleagues and engage in leadership roles within professional organizations to expand my skills and make a positive impact in education.

It's about more than just setting goals; it's about aligning my values with those of my team and students, fostering a shared vision for the future. This journey of self-discovery and connection has infused my efforts with purpose and passion, creating a more meaningful and human-centered approach to crafting educational experiences for students.

A lifelong learner tends to be more prepared and ready for the challenges we will be facing on our day-by-day at school. As educators and leaders, we must always seek for meaningful and effective strategies to deliver a high quality experience to all the people involved. In addition, we can learn a lot from the people around us, due to their experience and their willing to make it happen.

Implementar grupos de estudos a partir do levantamento de necessidades com os educadores e propor soluções educacionais de criação coletiva ao final deles pode se mostrar uma valiosa ferramenta para inovação. Além disso, quando os educadores do “chão da escola” participam colocando o que percebem como necessidade assim como do que acreditam que pode solucioná- las, o engajamento é maior. Já vivi experiências com ideias muito boas, você pode se surpreender!

It’s important to create space to consider unique ways to develop and grow. There are certainly some tried and true ways to grow but there are also some different approaches worth leveraging. So, after you have identified a few ways that you can improve a skill, give thought to some more untraditional, dare I say, some crazy ideas. When you’re created a substantial list of these ideas, test a few and figure out what’s pursuing further. Even if you have to iterate your approach to make it more effective, this effort is bringing you further along in developing the skills to be better as a leader.

Pour ma part, je cherche à initier des réseaux, des communautés ou des projets qui visent à atteindre des objectifs ou des défis éducatifs communs. Il est primordiale de construire un écosystème dans lequel on travaille avec des leaders et/ou on développe des leaders. Par exemple coorganise des conférences, des ateliers, des formations sur la thématique du Leadership avec des parties prenantes de différents domaines, niveaux,...ce qui nous permet de nous compléter pour arriver au sommet. Le leadership va venir nourrir le leadership avec un impact positif sur nos skills et sur notre environnement.

Discovering the power of collaboration beyond leadership circles has been a game-changer for me especially when tackling skill development challenges in India. Engaging with educators, community members, and industry professionals who share our vision and values has enabled us to create a richer, more focused approach to learning. This synergy not only amplifies our impact but also brings diverse insights and innovative solutions to the forefront.

Having a break or even enjoying some time off are essential. We are not robots. We need to interact with family and also do things we like for a change. We usually feel more energized after we've taken a break or been off.

The Singapore Ministry of Education's Leadership Development Framework is an excellent example of how a country can structure educational leadership development. This framework covers various stages of an educator's career, from pre-leadership preparation to senior leader development, and includes mentoring programs, scholarships for advanced studies and international secondments to gain global experience. Data from Singapore's education market shows that this focus on leadership development correlates with high student performance in international assessments, such as the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA). Singapore consistently ranks among the top countries in math, science and reading.

Leadership is about people. Focus on taking care of people and then on everything else. As an educational leader, my focus was students first, then teachers, then staff. If I kept that focus, I knew I was doing the right things and making the right decisions.
