O ideal seria não chegar a esse ponto, mas se chegou, o importante é entender o porque o cliente procurou seu concorrente e tentar reverter a situação. Para reverter você precisa mostrar todo seu potencial, fazer uma comparação com o seu serviço/ produto X o do concorrente. Com isso você mostra sua análise e tenta ser o máximo transparente, sempre lembrando o valor da parceria.

I would make it clear to the customer that we can continue to offer an attractive range that meets their individual needs. In doing so, I emphasise the personal contact and the good cooperation that we have maintained to date. Let's face the facts, client never switches unless they get something better than what you are offering. So to avoid that you need to get your competitors analysis game on point, you already know what they offer, but you need to ask yourself "How do they offer". Knowing that will help having an upper hand. When it comes to clients being transparent, putting in some extra efforts to help them achieve their goal earlier, being available when needed. All of these play a pivotal role in building a relationship. Once they are confident "You Can Get Shit Done" they would avoid replacements.
