The Society of Human Resources offers a great course called the SHRM Essentials of Human Resources, and it does not require any previous HR experience. It helped me create foundational knowledge on HR practices and competencies needed in order to success in the HR function. Highly recommended! Then once you break into HR, land your entry-level role, I would recommend working towards obtaining either the SHRM-CP certification OR HRCI. These both have some prerequisites so definitely research what they are so you can prep ahead of time!
