Being into HR I have seen organisations confiding employees to one department/domain and not giving open hand to learn from other teams or take there involvement in given projects. I believe giving open hand and encouraging collaboration among same and different team promotes team bonding,positive work culture and more than this helps people learn from there co workers and this way new skills can be grabbed very easily. Team work does not only makes less time consuming it even promotes work done with more minds,more energy and motivation which no doubt will deliver better.

Without experimenting one cannot learn anything new. What we are excel in today was once a trial and experiment for all of us. Being into HR,introducing employees to new set of activities,workshops and engaging work environment is actually an experiment every-time we tries something new I have fear whether people would like it or not. Making people involve in it,getting them interested and understanding whether they are liking it or they needs some improvement or changes to enjoy it better. Without new experiments I don’t believe people would like that monotonous work culture.

Build Design Thinking into your work and your problem solving on the job. It's a problem-solving approach that focuses on understanding the needs of users, challenging assumptions, and redefining problems to identify alternative strategies and solutions. The general process is Empathize - Define - Ideate - Prototype - Test - Implement. In the context of HR, you always start "empathize" as the initial starting point, someone else's explanation of what their problem is, looking at it from their perspective, and designing solutions around their expectations or, challenging those expectations in the Define phase.

Introducing new policies or adding new sort of activities on timely bases is a task but more than this observing what your people like or are adapting is something we have to focus on to make the required changes or getting new things at place. Recently we had a workshop at Affnet which was my first time having mental health workshop with our team and I have observing whether people are liking it or not to decide whether to get this activity repeated after a span of time or not.Though are people actually enjoyed the session and things came out to be worth organising. Observe,listen to your people,take suggestions along with feedback and see how the culture grows.
