It's a fact we'll fail. It's a fact we'll be disappointed. This reality. For sure failure is reaal and we can't run or hide from it. No should we. It's dangerous to not live not in reality. It's strength to understand the truth and acknowledge it in all situations.

I heard someone recently say that failure is not fatal. It can feel fatal when the money is running out and revenue isn't coming in. It is very uncomfortable. What's important is to take that uncomfortable feeling and use it as fuel to learn and grow. Failing is the best way to learn what not to do again. I've failed multiple times in hiring the wrong person. I've failed in trusting large corporations to care about a small business. Through all that, I've learned and I've grown. Stronger. And I will keep learning and growing.

Absolutely. Countless small failures have taught me invaluable lessons and driven my growth. The key is to keep getting up and pushing forward.

Yes, analyze, but here's why you shouldn't dwell too long in analysis. Mistakes pile up. Identify the mistake, determine how you'd do it next time, and then sweep it off the court. There will be more mistakes. But there will also be more opportunities -- don't get so distracted by your mistakes that you can't capitalize on the big chances.

My advice here is don’t get stuck in weeds. Sure, spend a bit of time analyzing and then move on. The word “analysis” scares me a bit. Can get stuck here and then lose the ambition to try new things. Learn from it, get over it and move on.

Teamwork is crucial in moving forward and walking in success. Encourage unity and condemn discord. Humility earns respect. Respect earns authority. With authority comes accountability. Accountability breeds from a place of Humility.

It is true that you should consider appropriate course corrections when necessary. But also be aware that if you radically change course at every obstacle you may go in circles, get nowhere, and disorient your team and customers. Sometimes you simply have to be resilient. Sometimes, you're trying to carry too much all at once, and simply need to jettison some bags along the way, make adjustments, and simplify your mission, tools, and offerings.

I agree, change course. Sometimes things fail for a reason. They may not have been a good idea in the first place. Best way to learn is to try, but we also need to accept failure and put ideas aside as being unworkable right now. Walking away is a strategy which is acceptable and often the best outcome.

I've found myself on the corner of "Been There & "F*ck-It" on many occasions. It's how we learn. It's what makes us take a new path. It all comes down to taking that first step.

Sometimes it is necessary to change course to get you to your final destination. Reconsider what you call failing. To reconsider means assessing the goal as well as the capability and capacity needed for achievement. For example, when we launched my coaching deck I wanted to hit particular sales numbers. We didn't hit those numbers. Thank God! We didn't have the fulfillment systems in place for the sales numbers that I wanted. We were not ready for the sales numbers that I wanted. Sometimes even when you create a SMART goal, you may find that it wasn't that smart in the first place. THAT'S OKAY! Take your lessons and level up.

Ego takes a nosedive; confidence takes a vacation & that voice in your head starts whispering give up. But hold on because that's the easy way out. The path of a champion lies in launching right back up. Remember, that failure isn't a dead end, it's a detour. Failure can be a compass pointing to a path that might not have seen before. So, the next time you faceplant remember this: 1. Feel the sting, it's normal. 2. Dust yourself off. 3. Look for the lesson or hidden opportunity. 4. Double down, but maybe tweak your direction.
