When I think about promoting diversity and inclusion through mobile learning, I can't help but also consider the intercultural factor. In this globalized era, it is necessary to create scenarios where students can develop intercultural competences such as working collaboratively, communicating assertively with others, and, of course, developing empathy and sensitivity

Understanding your audience is crucial for creating effective mobile learning experiences. Here's how to do it:⁰ Research: Gather demographic data and insights into your audience's preferences and learning styles. Surveys and Feedback: Use surveys and feedback forms to directly gather insights on your audience's preferences, challenges, and expectations. Persona Development: Create personas representing different segments of your audience to design tailored learning experiences. Feedback Loops: Establish ongoing feedback mechanisms to continuously refine the learning experience based on learner input.

Navigating the landscape of mobile device usage involves understanding how individuals access and utilize these devices, as well as the obstacles and difficulties they encounter. Employing various approaches, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, analytics, or personas, can be instrumental in gaining insights into your audience. By comprehending the unique characteristics and expectations of your audience, you can customize your mobile learning content and activities to cater to their diverse needs.

Know your students/audience and pull them into the conversation to share their experiences. Using SEL strategies to further engage and get to know your audience will help create a culture of sharing, as well as create a safe and welcoming environment.

Including facilitating the use of different languages and moderating the opinions to be accepted by different cultures. Also, material course backgrounds should involve overview examples from a variety of cultures to be accepted and useful for a wide range of people.

Incorporating diversity in online educational tools is often misunderstood. Thinking about physical, cultural, learning style diversity whilst designing the package is a great start. For example, mix up your presentation to cater for your auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners. Ideas might include a visual which also has an alternate auditory delivery...which some visual learners may also appreciate. I am not talking about one module catering for a specific learning style, but each module having parts that support the different learning examples. Examples...use examples, including a descriptive graphical, from different parts of the world.

Technology itself can help us in this matter. Please try to choose an interactive platform where people can actually express their ideas about the subject, like discussion groups, sharing circles…etc. A sense of community, and feeling of being heard really contributes to the level of effective learning…

Para fomentar la inclusión es importante entender la interculturalidad del grupo, por tal motivo, antes de iniciar las actividades recomendaría tomar un tiempo para que todos se conozcan y así estén preparados para sentirse libres de compartir sus opiniones y recibir las opiniones de los demás sin tomarlas personales, y durante el desarrollo del aprendizaje usar la evaluación entre pares.

Soy parto dario de que la metodología de evaluación sea acordada entre los alumnos, el docente y los acudientes, de este manera se estudia mula el compromiso, el uso de la rúbrica y también ofrece acciones de mejora porque el estudiante llega a la conclusión de por qué la nota o la calificación que tuvo. Además, si es voluntad del estudiante mejorar sus resultados, darle la oportunidad de hacerlo, respetando los acuerdos previos y teniendo la rúbrica como referente. Por último, el docente y la metodología también deben ser sujetos de evaluación por parte de los estudiantes y los acudientes para llegar a esa meta de inclusión que se busca y darles el protagonismo que merecen.

Always keep an open mind to your own learning. When designing an educational platform for a diverse community, and you listen to the users of the system, you will learn so much more about how people learn well...what does, and doesn't, work. Your learners may not know/have the official language to tell you what works...but be patient and listen! Professional learning is also important...whether it be a crash course in cultural needs of a group, formal seminars looking into neural diversity...it all helps. Yes, it takes effort and time. But it is so interesting, and very much worth it.

I keep an eye on how well learners are doing in the mobile learning platform by using analytics and tracking their progress. I also gather their thoughts through surveys and quizzes to know what they like, where they struggle, and how things can be better. Testing the platform with different kinds of learners helps me spot any problems and make it more user-friendly. Regularly, I review and update the content to keep it accurate and up-to-date. I stay updated on the latest in technology and mobile learning so that our methods are always on point. It's not just about me, though.

La creación depende de los alumnos, ellos siempre encuentran el sentido de la usabilidad y del contenido. Ser literal es ampliar las preguntas y la inquietud del aprendizaje pero siempre se busca algo que no está al alcance de los alumnos para posicionarse y eso les lleva al abismo y eso paraliza búsqueda. Ellos siempre serán su mejor maestría.
