Absolutely! The next step is creating and delivering content that aligns with your goal. Quality over quantity is key; ensure the content is relevant, engaging, and offers value to your audience. Also, use social media as a platform to gather insights. Pay attention to the feedback, comments, and discussions; these could be a goldmine of ideas. Lastly, remember to foster a community where collaboration and innovation are encouraged. It's about co-creating solutions with your audience, not for them.

There are two effective methods for this. 1. Speak to your existing audience. Ask questions, What do they want/need? Create polls. Use the date to create or improve your product/service offerings. 2. Utilize social listening. Identify relevant keywords and hashtags as well as which social media platforms are relevant. Then, choose a social listening tool such as sprout social and set up monitoring and notifications. Do the same on Google. Once you start gathering data, analyze it. Look for patterns & trends for insights. Use this date to identify gaps and to create or improve your product/service offerings. Both methods effectively rely on data from the market you are trying to serve to let you know what they want/need

There are so many groups that run Hackathons and support VC’s, startups and idea generation! Don’t forget to include these types of services, communities and companies in your search. I have participated with HackerEarth, EtH and more.

Too often, people treat social media more like a megaphone and less like a telephone. If you're only approaching a platform as a place to promote rather than one to collaborate and connect, then you are missing the point. What's why presenting information in a way where others can see themselves in it is so critical - not only for the success of our projects during the conception phase, but also to have advocates during implementation as well.

Collaboration is a great way to work together and achieve common goals. Collaboration also allows us to pool our resources, whether it's expertise, creativity, or networks, to achieve more than what we could individually. Collaboration also means that we have the opportunity to reach each other's audiences and thereby introduce our product/service to new people who may not have come across it otherwise. This cross-pollination of audiences can result in mutual growth, increased engagement, and potentially new opportunities. By working together, we can tap into a broader range of ideas and perspectives, gain valuable new insights and open up new possibilities for innovation.

Social media is the worlds largest real time laboratory. Use it as such! Try something you haven't tried. Test, observe, adjust and test again.

Don’t forget to include data about your experiments! What testing garnered the most participation rate? How are you capturing the results? What is the success criteria? Is your experiment more social or academic? Do you have the right sample pull? Who is reviewing the results in addition to you? It’s important to understand the testing universe and utilize the results for product management lifecycle and to reduce future testing cycles.

Social media is a great tool! Think of how it fits in to your overall product lifecycle: research, launch, new feature management, sunset etc. Afterall, the objective is a product and this is one data point and process that can be used to hone in on the value proposition and find the solution to the problem to be solved.
