This could be to bring in specialist capabilities / expertise or leverage existing partner solutions or even to bring in geographic scale. When identifying potential partners it's crucial to ensure that both parties have a common understanding of what is the end goal we are working towards and have clear roles / responsibilities / ground rules / structures discussed and expectations established so that the relationship adds value to both parties..

Know the exact agenda you want to promote. Know the values and goals that will work for the carrier of the vision. Look for these qualities in potential partners. Network and engage with them with clear intention, understand their passion and how their goals align with yours. If all these play out, this is a good potential partnership.

The key is to ensure that you align on goals and objectives. Once those are established you can reverse engineer all activities and events to mutually achieve. Of course building rapport and recurring communication is important too.

If you want to identify the best partners, mind the gaps. What value do you bring to the table? Then consider: What does your client need to have a 100% satisfactory experience? What common traps exist in the next steps after your service? Where is the most frequent mismatch that leads to clients reaching out to you, or not reaching out? People and companies that can fill those gaps, without being fully competitive with you, are your natural allies.

The best way to deliver on a promise is not to promise it. I mean why do you need to promise when you can establish a reality. What's this established reality all about, humans face risk everyday, making a promise without a risk clause is what breaks promise and knowing that time and space host several events within a limited time of 24hrs it safe not to promise or promise less than what one intends to deliver and if you must promise so you can breath, attach risk clauses.

While ensuring promises are kept & commitments are met, but in real time scenarios there may be unexpected situations or challenges that may make it difficult to meet the original plans - at this point proactive and open communications and trust can mean that short term challenges can be transformed into long term success where all parties realize the benefits and value from the partnership
