What are some of the current trends and challenges in technology integration research?

The range of technologies available for use in education is constantly expanding, and this can make it difficult for researchers to keep up. Researchers need to be familiar with a wide range of technologies in order to design effective studies. Many technology integration studies are short-term, and this makes it difficult to determine the long-term effects of technology use on student learning. Researchers need to conduct longitudinal studies in order to understand how technology use affects students over time.

The baseline identification and common research parameters that labs can work accordingly will accelerate the development and improve the technology readiness level in short time compared to existing status.
