One step at a time! You need to add the culture of dividing the team goals into a combination of small goals. And you need to prepare your team to face failure with a stronger attitude. Once the team understands that it's one step at a time they will see how easier it is to achieve the target as they will not take the challenges as a whole, they will also see it divided into smaller challenges. But before that, did you set a smart goal? Was the target actually achievable?

1. Be Honest: Talk openly about the challenges. Make sure the team knows they aren’t facing it alone and that their hard work is appreciated. 2. Show Care and Support: Listen to individual concerns, struggles, frustrations, emphasize that you’re all in this together 3. Celebrate Small Wins: Recognize, appreciate every bit of progress 4. Review and Adjust: Take a close look at what is working and what isn’t, and make changes based on data 5. Provide Helpful Tools: Give the team better training, sales techniques, or technology to succeed 6. Motivate with Rewards: Use incentives, recognition, or fun contests to keep spirits high 7. Be a Positive Role Model: Your attitude matters. Stay upbeat, focused, and energized 8. Promote Work-Life Balance

In my opinion it is essential to set achievable sales goals that are aligned with the current market conditions. Work with your sales team to set realistic targets that are challenging but achievable. Celebrate every win, no matter how small, to keep the morale of your team high. Use positive feedback to motivate and encourage your team to keep going despite the challenging conditions, and remind them that better times will return.

One thing i have found helpful is to really keep focus on the controllable so while the WHAT is important equally important is the HOW. As long as a leader you can inspire your team to keep taking tangible actions, think out of the box and celebrate micro milestones along the way it keeps everyone inspired, motivated and focused on the big vision.
