This year, 25 skippers from the fleet will equip their boats with advanced measurement instruments, turning the race into a 'floating scientific station' as they navigate around the globe. 🌍 These instruments will collect invaluable data, especially from under-sampled regions like the Southern Ocean, helping to enhance weather forecasting services and providing essential insights for scientists studying climate change.
