Season Five of Rising Voices is here! To learn more and apply, visit this link- khttps://lnkd.in/gjpbYGAA 🎥 🎬 Rising Voices is Indeed’s initiative to build a new future of Hollywood. Data still shows that BIPOC directors are underrepresented in Hollywood, and Indeed thinks the world can work better. That’s why we’ve partnered with Indeed, Hillman Grad and 271 Films to help fund and support 10 BIPOC filmmakers as they create short films based on the theme “the future of work.” Each filmmaker will receive $100K, as well as mentoring and production support to help bring their vision to life. Rising Voices is part of Indeed’s mission to get people jobs – and that goes for everyone from creatives to the cast and crew. Rising Voices has created over 2,000 jobs to date and counting. Excited to share that one year after its premiere at Tribeca, Justin Kim's Indeed Rising Voices film Sarajin is now online as a Vimeo Staff Pick 🌊🌊🌊 In a remote Alaskan town DongSu, a snow crab fisherman, is struggling to make ends meet for his immigrant family. When the snow crabs he depends on suddenly disappear due to climate change, he and his family have to decide whether to stay or leave their new home behind.
