2K Dublin is 5 this month 🥳   Starting out as a small team working above a cafe, the Dublin office is now over 150+ people, playing a pivotal role across every aspect of 2K publishing, and a driving force in 2K’s company culture. Home to teams across Marketing, Product Management, Strategy, Analytics, and two of 2K’s Graduate Programs, 2K Dublin is often applauded for being collaborative, creative, positive, and overall, special.    In honor of this milestone, we sat down with leaders across Dublin to learn more about the people, teams and programs that contribute to its success. 🇮🇪

#InternationalVolunteerDay is recognized each year on December 5th in celebration of volunteers and their contributions around the world. To support the work our employees are doing in their communities, 2K offers employees a paid volunteer day per year to spend at organizations that mean the most to them. Additionally, 2K’s ‘Cash for Caring’ benefit allows employees to earn hourly compensation for volunteer hours that can be donated to the cause of their choice. Two of our employees with the most volunteer hours at the company shared more about how they volunteered their time this year: “I have always loved animals, with a favoritism towards dogs. They are absolute angels with how sweet and pure their souls are, and they're just so cute! So to me, it's a no-brainer to me as to why anyone would want to help them. These senior dogs have been through so much due to abandonment and neglect, yet they STILL manage to find so much joy in the little things and have so much love to give to the humans that give them another chance. Even though I am the one "helping" them, they actually teach and remind me how to stay emotionally resilient and grateful consistently.” says Expert Animator, Tiffany Cheung about her work at Muttville, a Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco, CA. Test Manager Sam Luna gave back to his community introducing STEM education values through the McCaw School of Mines Foundation, telling us “I’m passionate about inspiring critical thinking and real-world problem solving through helping kids explore the building blocks of our world. Volunteering gives me the chance to spark their creativity and curiosities, inspiring a deeper love for learning.” Sam also volunteered with My Brother’s Keeper Alliance in Las Vegas, Nevada, stating “This event was exciting for me because it was the first time I had the chance to volunteer not just as myself, but as 2K. MBK's focus is on empowering young men of color to achieve their full potential through education, mentorship, and workforce development.
