Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Emre Varol CEO of A2SV | Africa to Silicon Valley, and Mr. Calvin Ganza, Advisor to the Ministry of ICT, for an insightful discussion. We explored ways to position Africa as a global leader in IT outsourcing, learning from successful models worldwide. Exploring Collaboration for Innovation: A2SV x Safaricom Ethiopia A2SV recently had the privilege of hosting Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC representatives Betelhem Teshome and Kifle Hayleeyesus for a productive meeting. The discussion highlighted exciting opportunities for collaboration, including raising awareness about Safaricom’s M-PESA Developer Portal, exploring the integration of M-PESA as a payment option in A2SV projects, and aligning A2SV initiatives with M-PESA's Mini App ecosystem. We also discussed future joint hackathons to inspire innovation through M-PESA APIs and the potential for developing training content for A2SV’s learning platform.
