Access Pediatric is the first virtual-only pediatric speciality practice in the US. We believe that our care delivery model will improve access to care and ultimately patient outcomes which improves the lives of our next generation. Check out my article in Medium!
Virtual healthcare, if implemented correctly, has the ability to roll-back inequalities in our healthcare system that have been systemically created post-covid. Telehealth can be more than a video call. Physicians now have the ability to run remote testing, equivalent to those done in hospital and physician offices use, from patients' homes. I did not realize that my enthusiasm for solving the scarcity problem in pediatrics was noted in Medium magazine. https://lnkd.in/gRN28tXV

RFK Jr. & Herbert Ley Jr.
RFK Jr.: Lunacy or Legacy? L-inked-In is ablaze with condemnation and admiration for RFK Jr. There are fearmongering stories on what he would do to FDA, CDC & vaccines. He is being dismissed as a conspiracy theorist. But he has the people’s mandate. It’s important to remember a well respected, former FDA commissioner Herbert Ley Jr. Herbert L. Ley Jr. was a U.S. physician and the 9th Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from 1968 to 1969. Educated at Harvard, Ley had a background in bacteriology and public health. As FDA Commissioner, he faced significant opposition from the pharmaceutical industry and political figures while advocating for consumer protection and removing unsafe drugs. Notably, he contended with industry pressures over drug safety and the controversial artificial sweetener cyclamate. Ley resigned amid conflicts with the government, later criticizing the FDA’s limitations in protecting public health. He died in 2001 from cardiovascular disease.
