Today, on #WorldChildrenDay2024, we embrace this year’s powerful theme: #ListenToTheFuture! Our #Children are the architects of tomorrow, and their voices carry the wisdom, dreams, and aspirations that shape the future. To truly "listen to the future," we must hear, value, and act on what children are telling us—about their hopes, their struggles, and the world they envision. As a #faith-based network, we believe in the sacred responsibility of nurturing and protecting children, amplifying their voices, and championing #ChildrenRights. Together with communities and leaders, we commit to ensuring every child feels heard, safe, and empowered to thrive. 📚 Read about their Rights: https://lnkd.in/dK3wAx8c 🎥 Watch their stories: This year, we are proud to showcase heartfelt videos of children sharing their hopes for the future and the challenges they face. 🎥Faith in action: Hear from faith leaders on how they are working tirelessly to address children’s rights and well-being, inspired by the wisdom and resilience of young voices. Let’s not just listen but act to create a better world for all children. 🌟 What does "listening to the future" mean to you? Together, we can turn their dreams into reality. #WorldChildrensDay2024 #ListenToTheFuture #ChildRights #FaithInAction #ForEveryChild #DifferentFaithsCommonAction

The African Council of Religious Leaders - Religions for Peace in Collaboration with UNICEF The Gambia conducted an impactful training for Adaptation of The Journey of Change on Social Issues Affecting Communities. This two-day workshop in Banjul focused on the Mind-Heart Dialogue (MHD) approach, aimed at building the capacities of local faith leaders to address social issues through multi-faith collaboration. The sessions were structured around faith and childhood development, leveraging scriptural reflections and the concept of the Journey of Change to influence positive behavioral outcomes in communities.Participants explored the role of faith in fostering positive change, engaging in dialogues and discussions on #SBC approaches. On the second day, the focus shifted to practical activities such as power dynamics analysis, participatory drama, and stakeholder mapping, which enabled participants to develop strategic action plans for addressing social issues. This initiative marks the beginning of interfaith collaboration with faith leaders to advocate for key priorities, including quality education, child protection, and improved primary healthcare. #Faith4Change #FPCC #YouthAndWomen #SocialImpact #DiffferentFaithsCommonAction

African Council of Religious Leaders - Religions for Peace impacts are sparked by empowering local facilitators and peace actors that nurture community of healers capable of addressing the deep wounds left by conflict. They become beacons of change as Insider Reconcilers, comprising religious leaders from Christian and Muslim faiths, engaged in immersive workshops, sharing their stories of resilience and hope. Their training extended to refugee camps, where they provide empathy and tangible support, reinforcing the idea that healing starts with understanding. As these leaders initiated interfaith dialogues and built bridges across divides, we witness the fruits of their labor—improved relations and renewed community ties. Despite challenges, their journey continues to inspire, reminding us that every story of suffering can become a powerful catalyst for change. Together, we are nurturing a future where peace reigns✨ #DifferentFaithsCommonAction #PeaceBuilding #CommunityHealing #SouthSudan #Transformation #InterfaithDialogue
