We’re excited to announce a significant investment, $285 million, in our Detroit Manufacturing Plant in Redford Township, Michigan. In addition to the 2,000 existing jobs at the facility, this investment and expansion will allow for the creation of 400 new job opportunities. The plant will extend part of Demand Detroit’s facility, allowing for continued support of current technologies for internal combustion engines and provide space for the research and development of technologies for fuel-efficient engines and components that are essential to many commercial trucking applications.    This project is made possible through collaboration with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), the Michigan Legislature, and the local community. The MEDC has incentivized the project with a $27.7 million performance-based Critical Industries Program grant, fostering job creation and economic growth.   This strategic move not only modernizes the plant but also reinforces our focus on developing advanced solutions for the transportation industry. 🚛💡   See full the full press release here à https://lnkd.in/g-tiaUKz
