ARC is proud to have been part of this milestone achievement, working alongside our valued partners National Railways of Zimbabwe, Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM), MPDC - Maputo Port Development Company, Sturrock Grindrod Maritime and Traxtion. The successful movement of granite from Harare to Maputo, after more than two decades, highlights the strength of collaboration and the potential of rail transport in the region. We remain committed to supporting regional rail solutions and building sustainable, long term business opportunities through these partnerships. #RailTransport #RegionalCollaboration #MaputoPort #GraniteTransport #AfricanRailCompany
Diversification and Efficiency at the Maputo Port We have successfully completed our first granite export operation since 2008, with a total of 6,063.47 tons shipped to Spain, this achievement marks a significant step forward in diversifying the cargo handled at the port. Transported from Zimbabwe by rail, this operation highlights the efficiency and sustainability of the railway corridor as a reliable solution for our clients. The smooth execution and positive feedback from our clients reaffirm the strength of our teams and infrastructure. As we continue to explore new business opportunities, we remain focused on delivering integrated logistics solutions that drive regional trade and growth. This milestone is just the beginning of a bright future in cargo diversification. #MaputoPort #Efficiency #Diversification #IntegratedLogistics #MPDC

It takes a village! As we move toward the end of 2024, it’s a natural moment to pause and reflect. This year has been a journey filled with challenges, milestones, and growth - none of which would have been possible without the incredible team at ARC. One highlight was our first ever town hall in Bulawayo just a few weeks ago. It was a powerful reminder of the collective energy and shared purpose that fuels our work. Coming together in person to align on our goals and celebrate our progress reinforced that ARC’s strength lies in its people. From the ground operations to the leadership team, every contribution has been a building block for the success we’ve achieved this year. Here’s to carrying that momentum into 2025 with the same dedication, collaboration, and drive that defines who we are. . . . #Teamwork #Leadership #EndOfYearReflections #Collaboration #ARCJourney #GrowthAndSuccess #AfricanRailCompany

We had the privilege to attend the first edition of the RAILWAY SAFETY REGULATOR (RSR) Industry Awards, and it was an incredible experience! ARC was honored to be a finalist in the Best SADC Region Initiative category. The event was exceptionally well organized, featuring a dynamic pair of hosts, an exclusive guest list, and insightful speeches from Mmuso Selaledi CA (SA) and other key figures in the rail industry. Congratulations to all the winners across the various categories; it was truly inspiring to see companies and individuals recognized for their achievements and hard work. Finally, congratulations to our partners, Traxtion, on their well deserved win! We take pride in collaborating with them, sourcing locomotives that are vital to our operations. While we didn’t take home the award (this time ☝!), being recognized as a finalist motivates us to continue driving innovation and making impactful contributions to the rail industry. #RailIndustryAwards #RSR #Innovation #TeamARC #AfricanRailCompany #RailInnovation #RailSafety

In this video is our copper train a few weeks ago, completing its journey from Harare to Maputo and covering 1,257km in just 74 hours! This impressive journey is a testament to the efficiency and precision of our rail services across various commodities. This intermodal operation involved trucks picking up copper from the DRC and transferring it to Harare, where ARC seamlessly took over the rail transport, ensuring rapid transit to the Maputo port. Beyond speed, rail transportation offers significant ‘Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)’ benefits. Rail transport produces far fewer emissions compared to road, reducing the carbon footprint of our clients. It also helps alleviate road congestion, reduces accidents, and minimizes the loss of both humans and animal life - while improving air quality. The positive impact extends beyond logistics, delivering tangible benefits to local communities. By choosing rail, our clients contribute to a more sustainable future while benefitting from reliable, time sensitive solutions. #RailEfficiency #Sustainability #ESG #ARC #AfricanRailCompany #RailLogistics #CopperTransport #Africanrailco #ARC
