“Congratulations to Blue Origin on its 10th human flight, a successful NS-30 mission. It’s an exciting time in history, witnessing the number of commercial astronauts growing through the New Shepard program. We are inspired by following their journey beyond the Kármán line and hearing how they’ve been changed when they return to Earth.” - AIAA CEO Clay Mowry 📸: #Blueorigin #AIAA #ascendspace

🚀 A Defining Moment: First Conference Paper ✨ Those who know me well know that as a spacecraft engineer, I am living my childhood dream of working with spacecraft and rockets. From looking up at the stars to marveling at the wonders of space, I am excited to have reached another milestone - presenting my first ever paper at a conference, that too at the world's biggest technical aerospace event, the AIAA SciTech Forum and Exposition 2025. I had the privilege of sharing my team’s research work on satellite formation flying, where I presented a stable method for maintaining a formation of 3 satellites. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gntSzqPS The conference as a whole was nothing short of a crucible for revolutionary ideas; I attended plenaries and presentations discussing AI-driven spacecraft control models, interstellar exploration frameworks, sustainable propulsion systems, and innovative multi-disciplinary design optimisation. These talks, and discussions with other subject matter experts, were thoroughly eye-opening and introduced me to novel concepts that push the boundaries of science ever further. As an engineer, this experience deepened my appreciation for the intricate symbiosis between theoretical rigor and hands-on engineering. True progress is not merely conceptual - it is the alchemy of ideas brought to life through collaboration, tenacity, and visionary thinking. Adding to the magic of this experience, I had the privilege of visiting the iconic Kennedy Space Center - a place where dreams take flight (quite literally). It was surreal to see the Apollo crew capsule, an actual Falcon 9 booster, and the evergreen Space Shuttle in person, having only ever seen them online or played with Lego blocks as a kid. Standing beneath the legendary and colossal Saturn V rocket, I felt the weight of history - and the limitless possibilities of the future quickly dawned on me. A huge thanks to ST Engineering Satellite Systems for this amazing opportunity, my colleague Bok Leong C. for his amazing analysis, and our advisor Chek-Wu Tan for his invaluable guidance and support through the duration of this research. Looking forward to even more exciting opportunities like these! Here's to pushing limits, embracing curiosity, and shaping the future together! 🌍💡 #Spacecraft #AIAASciTech #InnovationEcosystem #EngineeringExcellence #SpaceTechRevolution #GlobalCollaboration #FutureOfTechnology #SustainableInnovation #BreakthroughThinking #Space #DisruptiveInnovation #TechForGood #BoldIdeas #KennedySpaceCenter #SpaceExploration #DreamBig #SpaceTechnology #NASA #FormationFlying #Satellite #SatelliteTechnology #aerospaceengineering
