We are excited to announce our strategic partnership with Birla Cellulose, a global leader in man-made cellulosic fibers. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in our mission to scale Circ®'s textile recycling innovation, building a robust, scalable infrastructure that enhances access to next generation materials and drives rapid adoption. Birla Cellulose will purchase a minimum of 5,000 metric tonnes of pulp per year for 5 years from our first-ever commercial-scale facility and will then convert it into high-quality lyocell staple fiber. This partnership is a testament to the quality of Circ's technology and products, as well as Birla's commitment to environmental stewardship. As highlighted by Vogue Business, our alliance reflects one of the essential ingredients to making circularity a reality at scale: supplier involvement. “This momentum is what will enable brands to make bolder commitments [and] suppliers to accelerate their transformation. With suppliers like Birla committing to the circular economy, it’s clear that we’re no longer talking about distant sustainability goals. We’re building the reality, right here, right now.” – Peter Majeranowski, Circ CEO. “This partnership reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship and represents a crucial step in advancing innovation within the textile industry,” says Aspi Patel, Chief Technology Officer at Grasim Industries Limited | Pulp & Fibre. “By integrating Circ’s cutting-edge recycling technology with our cellulosic fibres, we are enhancing the potential for a truly circular economy,” https://lnkd.in/enHQmi4w Maliha Shoaib #VogueBusiness #fashionindustry #textileindustry
