Congrats to GenusPlus Group on the progress made on the Aldoga Solar Farm substation, Aliweld had the task to supply all bus bar and fittings and have heard positive feedback from the guys on the ground. Its always satisfying to see the end results slowly coming together. #aluminiumfabrication #welding #busbar #substation
📹 👷♂️👷♀️ 👀 Construction update! A timelapse sneak-peek of our progress at the Aldoga Solar Farm 275kV Substation, as Queensland continues to power toward a sustainable future. Genus was awarded a contract earlier this year by ACCIONA Energía to deliver Substation design & construction works at this landmark solar project. Located around 20 km northwest of the city of Gladstone in Central Queensland, the Aldoga Solar Farm and its 275kV Substation is a flagship renewable energy project; and a key part of the Queensland Government’s aim to increase renewable energy supply, generate jobs and support economic growth for the future. On completion, this project will contribute significantly to the Queensland Government’s target of achieving 50 per cent renewable energy by 2030, 70% by 2032 and 80% by 2035. Connecting the future. Together. 🤝 🎥 Timelapse vision credit: Cam Laird #connectingthefuture #renewableenergy #substations #energytransition Damon Olufson Kevin Arnold Daniel Green

On Tuesday Steve Englefield and Nigel Rolton had the privilege of touring the Capral Aluminium Bundamba extrusion mill. What an amazing experience to see how the aluminium is extruded from start to finish. #aluminium #aluminiumfabrication #welding

More busbar getting fabricated, every couple of days we are having a truck turn up with more raw materials to be turned into bus bars. These ones are going over to Western Australia on a Batterey Energy storage for UGL #aluminiumwelding #busbar #substation #aluminium #highvoltagepower #BESS

It's always rewarding to see the projects we've been involved with come to fruition! We have enjoyed working with AMS Group and William Low on this project.
‘Lead’ing the way…..Another successful Aid to Navigation (AtoN) job complete with Maritime & Infrastructure Technology Solutions (MAITS) recently reaching practical completion for the Maritime Safety Queensland (Department of Transport and Main Roads) Wide Bay Bar AtoN Lead Structure Install Project. In a true collaboration, MSQ supplied the towers and were supported by the Butchulla people (Cultural monitoring) and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. MAITS were supported by partners Aliweld Power Pty Ltd (Tower modification work), Surveyors@work (Surveying), and The Fauna Catcher (Spotter catcher work) as well as Noremac Constructions, with Noremac supported by Piletech International (Screw piles and site welding), Better Engineering (Welding), and Coolum Cranes (Lifting). The lantern (SL-PEL-5) was supplied Sealite, with MSQ’s in house team doing the electrical works. A big shout out to our client MSQ and lead Woody Beaven and our own PM William Low who was supported by Dan Bocking, Ethan Tyacke, and Rainer Coetzee. Maritime & Infrastructure Technology Solutions, Access Datacom, Maritime & Aviation Survival Solutions, and Poseidon Sea Pilots are proud AMS Group companies. Together they maintain, safeguard, and secure Australia’s (and Asia-Pacific’s) critical infrastructure and provide mission critical services and solutions in the technology, infrastructure, security, marine pilotage, marine operations, and search and rescue domains. #technology #infrastructure #security #marinepilotage #searchandrescue #aviation #maritime #vts #IALA #ASIAL #AMPI #portsaustralia
