When we say we’re “partying,” this is what we mean. This week, we brought our friends together to usher in our comfycore era. With attendees clad in loungewear and our new Wool Lounger Mule, the night delivered a major dose of coziness – and a much needed break from cooler temperatures and holiday chaos. We ate comfort food.  We watched a comfort movie. And we even got matching permanent anklets. (Our version of a friendship bracelet.) If you need us, we’ll be staying squarely in our comfort zone and reminiscing on our crazy night *in.

Once a year, a week comes along that is so epic, SO unparalleled that it requires its very own LinkedIn post: Allbirds Wellness Week. As the name implies (we’re pretty literal around here), it’s a week-long extravaganza brimming with wellness activities for our Flock. A few highlights of this year’s Wellness Week itinerary included: - Lattes from the fancy coffee shop that we typically only gaze at with longing. - Virtual yoga for Flock members around the world. Pigeon pose was a hit.  - Penning letters of appreciation to customers.  - A HIIT workout Happy* Hour. (*UNhappy Hour for those of us who haven’t kept up on cardio.) A big thank you to our Workplace and People teams for organizing a week of calm and clarity in the midst of holiday chaos. Next year, let’s see if we can get two-factor authentication turned off for a day. Now THAT would be true wellness.

Dos Equis, if you’re reading this, we found the next Most Interesting Man In The World: Marko Kennelly Ullman. Marko is our Global Creative Director, but honestly, that might be the least interesting thing about him. A skilled outdoorsman, Marko would be equally at home on a survival show as he is on the set of a photoshoot. If ever a zombie apocalypse comes, our flock is clear on our survival plan: get to Marko’s place. When he’s not lending his nearly two decades of creative expertise–from the likes of Nike, Adidas and Icebreaker–he keeps busy by monitoring his ceramic creations in the kiln, watching Formula 1 and refurbishing boats. Our very own MacGyver. Marko, your creative leadership is even more invaluable to our team than your survivalist knowledge. Unless that aforementioned apocalypse comes. Thanks for all you do.

Celebrating spooky season with a little game of “What’s in the box?” with The Flock. We wanted to include a bucket of worms, but HR told us no. So, we used some of the signature materials we keep around the office instead. … Not sure what we’re going to do with the worms we ordered, so let us know if you’re in the market for that sort of thing.
