On Tuesday night, I had the privilege of sitting on a panel alongside two incredible women who are making a major impact in the sports and philanthropy space: Erin Kane, VP of Women's Sports at Excel Sports Management, and Christy Keswick, Co-Founder and President of Good Sports. Each brought unique perspectives to the conversation. Erin offered insight into how she guides her clients to leverage their time, talent, and treasure to drive their philanthropic vision, sharing strategies that help athletes use their platforms in impactful ways. Christy highlighted some of the challenges nonprofits like Good Sports face—especially in terms of fundraising and awareness. With their resources focused on getting gear/equipment to those in need, they often lack the marketing resources of bigger brands. As I mentioned to the audience during our panel, this is exactly why I created Alltroo!! My Co-Founders and I used our years of experience as prefessional athletes, combined with years of fundraising for non profits to ultimately provide athletes (as well as all other industries with fandom) with a streamlined, low-touch way to leverage their platforms for meaningful impact. Understanding that athletes have limited time, we allow them to engage their fans and raise significant funds for causes they care about with minimal time on their end. When it comes to the challenges Christy mentioned—fundraising and awareness—those are at the core of what we do at Alltroo. Our crowdfunding model not only raises money but also drives visibility for nonprofits. We're committed to amplifying the impact of these organizations through strategic marketing and fan engagement. Big thanks to Good Sports, Inc. for hosting such an important discussion and for continuing to invest in the power of community impact partnerships!
