Through PPG Industries generous support, hundreds of AMPP EMERG Student Outreach Program cKits (Corrosion Toolkits) will be distributed this summer to high school teachers, across the United States and in Canada, who can then educate their students on the science that fuels our industry. PPG’s support also aided EMERG in hosting 30 high school students from McDonogh #35 Senior High School, who were able to participate in a full day of immersion into the world of materials protection, at the recent AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in New Orleans!  Thank you for supporting the teachers and students who are the future of our industry! 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙? Do you enjoy talking about what you do with the younger generation? If you are planning to attend the 𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗣 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 + 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀, we have a volunteer opportunity for you! 𝘼𝙈𝙋𝙋 𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙍𝙂 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 is hosting a day-long camp for local high school students to educate and spread coatings and corrosion awareness to Gen Next.   We are looking for volunteers to assist with experiments and tours of the exhibit hall on Wednesday, March 6th. Shifts are available from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 12:30 to 2:45 p.m. Lunch is included! The 𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗚 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 is offering a 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 under the age of 30 the opportunity to sign up for 𝟯𝟬-𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀. Come share your time and expertise and provide guidance to a young attendee who is still in school or just starting out in the industry.
