🌊 Double Your Impact This Giving Tuesday! 🌊 For over 23 years, the Aquarium of the Pacific has proudly partnered with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to rescue, rehabilitate, and release stranded sea turtles along the Los Angeles coastline. While we’ve made incredible strides, our Sea Turtle Rehabilitation and Release Program has faced a recurring challenge—our current resources, including pools, medical supplies, and monitoring technology, are not always available when emergencies strike. This makes it difficult to respond swiftly to sea turtle strandings when they occur. With your help, we can change that. Your support will enable us to expand our infrastructure and dedicate vital resources exclusively to sea turtle rehabilitation. Together, we can renew our commitment to NOAA and ensure that we’re ready to respond to every sea turtle stranding along the Los Angeles County coastline as the designated agent within the West Coast Sea Turtle Stranding Network. Your gift today will go twice as far to save endangered sea turtles, thanks to a generous match from the ETHAPAX Fund and Trustees of the Pacific. Sea turtles are more than majestic—they’re ocean guardians, supporting coral reefs, seagrass meadows, and balanced ecosystems. 🌟 Donate now at pacific.to/gt24 to help us protect these gentle giants and ensure a thriving ocean for generations to come.

The Aquarium of the Pacific’s mission is to instill a sense of wonder, respect, and stewardship for the Pacific Ocean.
About us
The Aquarium of the Pacific is Southern California’s largest Aquarium. It displays about 12,000 animals and more than 100 exhibits that celebrate the planet’s largest and most diverse body of water, the Pacific Ocean. Its galleries represent the frigid waters of the Northern Pacific, the temperate Southern California/Baja region, and the warm coral reefs and lagoons of the Tropical Pacific. Each year approximately 1.7 million people visit the Aquarium, making it consistently one of the leading attractions in the Los Angeles region. Beyond its world-class animal exhibits, the Aquarium offers educational programs for people of all ages from hands-on activities to lectures by leading scientists. Through these programs and a variety of multimedia experiences, the Aquarium provides opportunities to delve deeper into ocean science and learn more about our planet.
