Associate Professor Bruce Myers (center) recently visited Fres-co System USA, Inc. in Telford, PA for training and tips on gravure ink proofing. Hosted by James Garvey, MBA of INX International Ink Co. (right) and Rodrigo Sosa (left) of Fres-co, Myers gained important knowledge for a forthcoming ink formulation research project for the Association for Roll-to-Roll Converters (formerly AIMCAL), where Garvey and Sosa are active in leadership roles. Myers states: “The printing and packaging programs at RIT have long benefitted from the support of industry associations and printers/converters with guidance on industry-relevant research projects, and the information provided by our partners at INX and Fres-co System USA will not only support research, but also inform our curriculum as we prepare the next generation of leadership in this dynamic industry.” #rit #ritcet #gravure #ink
