More than 160 professionals from across the personal care industry attended the seminar, which was led by Sebnem Cakir, MEA Personal Care Sales Leader at Ashland and Mary Waguih Zaki, Technical Sales Manager at Manapharma. The group discussed the critical role of recent developments in personal care along with newly developed formulations for the Egyptian market ensuring product performance and quality. In December, our solvers from Sao Paulo, Brazil, welcomed the Ashland Student Solver Award winners as part of its support for The Brazilian Science and Engineering Fair (FEBRACE). Three winners were selected from more than 500 students who participated in the Fair. The program helps build awareness and investment in STEM education, including developing the mindset of scientific curiosity and innovative thinking in students and educators in the region. The students and their teachers visited the Ashland technical center, where they learned from our scientists about real-world applications in the coatings, personal care, and pharmaceutical industries.
