ASL Aspire is an online educational platform that teaches STEM literacy to deaf students and their teachers.
About us
ASL Aspire is an online educational platform that teaches STEM education for K-12 deaf and hard of hearing students and their teachers. We are providing a seamlessly integrable curriculum that aligns with national core standards and is created in collaboration with deaf professionals who are actively developing new signs. Our interactive mini-games enable students to practice the signs while having fun, and our machine-learning technology enables them to validate signs in front of their webcam. With our user-friendly dashboard, teachers can track student progress and identify areas for intervention, making in-class instruction easier. We're committed to empowering students with the tools they need to succeed while providing teachers with an innovative solution to enhance classroom instruction for deaf and hard of hearing students. We would love to connect with more schools and administrators, if you want to get involved in expanding our school network or want to learn more, contact us below.

Growth, inclusivity, and accessibility are at the heart of our mission. As our team continues to expand, we’re proud to welcome both Deaf and hearing members who help bring our vision to life. This year, we took a meaningful step toward fostering accessibility within our internal team by launching bi-weekly ASL (American Sign Language) classes for our hearing members. This initiative ensures that we’re not only creating a more inclusive workplace but also equipping ourselves to communicate effectively—no matter the circumstances. It’s up to us to bridge the gap and take responsibility for creating a truly accessible environment. A huge shoutout to our incredible Deaf teacher, Staci Nichols, who has been guiding us on this journey. Her passion, patience, and positivity have made learning ASL such a rewarding experience for our team. We’re excited to continue learning from her and the Deaf community as we move into the new year. Here’s to building a future where inclusivity isn’t just a goal—it’s a standard. 💙 #Accessibility #Inclusivity #ASL #TeamGrowth #DeafCommunity #Leadership #LearningAndDevelopment

This innovative platform is the first game-based tool delivering STEM content in ASL through interactive and fun games, bridging the gap for young DHH learners. ASL Aspire’s mission? 🎮 Learning, Gaming, and Slime! 🧪 💡 We recently had the privilege of visiting two schools in St. Louis, Missouri: Parkway Schools and St. Louis Special School District! 🎮 At Parkway Schools, the students got in-person access to our ASL games and had the chance to meet the incredible team behind the scenes. It was such an honor to showcase the new features of our games, gather invaluable feedback from both students and teachers, and see the impact of our work firsthand. 🧪 At St. Louis Special School District, our Deaf STEMists, Mondreakest Faust and Mechelle Cureaux, led a fun and very messy slime-making activity that the students absolutely loved! The students' excitement were a testament to the magic of hands-on learning and the power of community. 🏫 A huge thank you to Meredith Jacques and Dani Willhite for their amazing support and for helping make this visit such a success. We’re so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to return to continue building these amazing connections! #ASLAspire #DeafEducation #STEMLearning #Inclusion #EdTech

If you missed the event of the year, we were proud to be TechRise Chicago Season 4 Finalists, competing for the chance to win $100K! Although we didn’t take home the prize, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the amazing people on my team who have helped bring ASL Aspire to where it is today. In April, we were awarded first place in the EdTech Pitch Competition, receiving $25K! Thanks to this incredible support, we were able to onboard three new Deaf professionals this past summer: Moises E. Tobias, Ziyou Sun, and Kameron Kinast. Their expertise and passion have been instrumental in pushing our mission forward. We are so excited to continue working with them and the rest of our incredible team. A special shoutout to our Deaf Ed team, who have been doing phenomenal work —making STEM education more accessible and inclusive for deaf students nationwide. Check out the amazing educational content on our YouTube channel and see their impact firsthand! Thank you to everyone who supported us and continues to believe in our vision.
