Last week, #ACCCNN’s Co-Founders and Co-Program Directors Billie Lynn Allard RN, MSN, FAAN and Jennifer Edwards attended the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing’s 49th Annual Conference in Chicago. In addition to connecting with and learning from fellow leaders in nursing, Billie presented at the “Transformative Advocacy: Leveraging a Strategic Approach to Empower and Activate Ambulatory Care Nursing Expertise to Transform Health Care” Town Hall Meeting on “Accountable Community of Health Through Navigation.” “The 49th AAACN Conference was great,” said Jennifer. “We heard from nurses and nursing leaders from across the nation about their best practices, programs, and research. AAACN’s goal is to revolutionize healthcare and ACCCNN is excited to be a partner in this work!" #aaacnconf24

Proud of #ACCCNN’s Billie Lynn Allard, who will be presenting at the “Transformative Advocacy: Leveraging a Strategic Approach to Empower and Activate Ambulatory Care Nursing Expertise to Transform Health Care” Town Hall Meeting on Friday, April 5 at #aaacnconf24. The town hall session allows for an open forum for discussion on health policy and advocacy issues in ambulatory care nursing. Billie will share her insights on “Accountable Community of Health Through Navigation” alongside presenters Michele Boyd, Rachel Start, Leondra Weiss, and Stephanie Witwer. This is going to be a fantastic conversation, so make sure to attend if you’ll be at this year’s AAACN conference!

During our inaugural #ACCCNN Summit in November 2023, Stephen C. His session sparked an engaging discussion, and we want to continue the conversation! If you’re involved in a hospital-at-home care program, what are some of the successes you've experienced or challenges you've faced along the way? Please share your experience, expertise, and questions with our navigation community in the comments.
