That's a wrap on Digital Health Startup Day 2024! Years ago, I had a crazy idea to bring a handful of digital health startups to DC for a day of connections and information sharing with influential Members of Congress and staff. It's now grown so much - this year, Consumer Technology Association partnered with the Congressional Digital Health Caucus to put on a Health Innovation Showcase in the Rayburn Foyer, followed by an afternoon of educational programming and networking at the CTA Innovation House. Digital health startups are building incredible products and platforms, often fueled by personal experiences with the health care system. They're passionate, innovative, and driven. It's important that policymakers and staff have the opportunity to hear their stories. It's equally as important for startups to be able to learn from policymakers and staff about what it's like to navigate health policy at the federal level. Both the digital health ecosystem and policymaking can be difficult, but in different ways. Digital Health Startup Day is an opportunity for idea-sharing, networking, and ultimately hopefully improving the health care system.
