What a great feeling to be named by Forbes in their article on 3D printing in auto repairs, shining the light on the innovative journey to date. Auto Additive and our counterparts at Würth Additive Group were mentioned on the back of the work being done to introduce the benefits of 3D printing in the auto collision and repair industry. Well done to the Auto Additive team, council members and partners for their ongoing contributions as we slowly piece together sustainable and safe solutions using 3D printing technology in the repair process.

Great article from Michael Molitch-Hou on the impact of #3Dprinting in the collision repair sector and mentioning Auto Additive, who is leading this charge. One challenge our industry faces is separating fact from fiction, as more would-be digital providers jump on the bandwagon, claiming to have end-to-end IP protection solutions with little to no supporting work history, or suppliers using poor-quality materials not compatible with industry standards. These were some of the key findings of the 3D Printing in Auto Repair Task Force in 2023. This is a significant opportunity for transformation, though it requires a cautious path toward reality.
