Thank you for helping the Ayn Rand Institute make huge strides in 2024 toward its mission to increase awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Ayn Rand’s philosophy in the culture. Last year we announced our most audacious goal yet: to erect the Ayn Rand Center. Recognizing that every successful cultural movement is born from a vibrant community of thinkers, students, activists, and patrons, the Ayn Rand Center will help advance Objectivism by becoming a center of learning, debate, outreach, culture, and influence. It will serve as a testament to the legacy of Ayn Rand and expand her influence in the world. We will soon break ground on the Ayn Rand Center with the goal of opening its doors in 2028. Meet Reinier Schuur, Executive Director of Americans for Free Choice in Medicine. He is a graduate of the OAC, the predecessor to ARU, ARI’s higher education program. This is why we gain so much pride when we look back at how our educational efforts have paid off. ARI's mission to advance Ayn Rand’s philosophy comes from a deeply selfish desire: to live in a culture where reason, rational egoism, and productiveness are its dominant driving forces—a culture where we are free to pursue our own happiness. Today, Schuur fights for a vision of what health care can and should be, where the producers and consumers of health care are free to produce and consume as they see fit. In particular, a vision where such activities are recognized and protected as a moral and legal right. Thanks to your donations, Rand’s ideas can permeate the culture and help create a better future.
