Frontlit and Forward-Thinking Displays
About us
Take the power back with frontlit reflective displays. Azumo technology , LCD 2.0, sips power at a 90% lower rate than backlit LCDs, is intrinsically safe, and is certified for industrial and medical uses. The frontlit reflective LCD module is the next step in devices and works in various applications. With LCD 2.0, devices can run for a week on a single charge and can go wherever we need them to with visibility in direct sun and pitch darkness. Our reflective display modules remove the restrictions around how and where we can look at our devices, and what they can do for us.

Azumo reposted this
We are thrilled to share that our portfolio company Azumo and their team are pushing the boundaries of display technology with the revolutionary Nano-TFI. This breakthrough known as Nano-Thin Film Illumination, transforms how high-resolution images are brought to life-without the need for bulky backlighting. Azumo's Nano-TFI represents a significant advancement in display technology, offering innovative solutions for consumer, medical, industrial, educational, and automotive markets. With over 70 patents, Azumo's ultra-thin light transmission technology enables up to 10 times the battery savings compared to traditional display. Kudos to the team for driving this innovation forward and redefining what's possible in design and functionality. We can't wait to see where this technology takes us next! #Innovation #DisplayTech #NanoTFI #TechTrends
Our Nano-TFI brings light into surfaces where LEDs previously couldn't be. By adding our slim, low power, conformable surface illumination you can add light to any surface inside or outside of the vehicle.

As we have reflected on how far we've come with display technology, new breakthroughs continue to push the boundaries of what's possible. A fascinating example? Researchers are exploring droplet lasers, a new approach that could revolutionize display technology. These lasers formed by trapping light in liquid droplets, showcase the incredible potential of microfluidics and optics working together. As detailed in Display Daily article, 𝘋𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘓𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘌𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺, this innovation hints at a future where displays get even brighter, more efficient, and uniquely designed. From CRTs to OLEDs and beyond, we look forward to see what's next. Read here 🔗https://hubs.li/Q031y64G0

If you've ever wondered about the distinction between our -03 and -06 part numbers, you're not alone. These reflect a unique roll configuration to bond the frontlight panel to the display tailored to ensure you get the perfect fit for your device's needs. ⬇️ 03 Part Number: 'under display' ➡️ 06 Part Number: 'flat roll' Both offer great space savings compared to a backlight (5X thinner than traditional backlighting). For a complete breakdown, refer to Azumo's FLP and LCD Panel Handling Guide. 🔗link in comment section
