About us
B-Resilient Project set an ambitious package of support actions to empower food processing SMEs to become more resilient by means of an optimum use of biomass, and with appropriate digital solutions. The project will focus on maximising usage of available feedstock and its subsequent valorisation of side streams into innovative bio-based ingredients. B-Resilient project is built on a zero-waste and circular concept, improving the competitiveness of food processing SME from an environmentally sustainable perspective.

🌱 We’re thrilled to contribute to the future of sustainable food systems through innovative mycoprotein production using solid-state fermentation. By transforming by-products into high-value proteins, we’re embracing a circular economy and zero-waste model that enhances resource efficiency and reduces environmental impact. This progress wouldn’t be possible without collaboration. We’re working hand-in-hand with Juan Umbert Rosselló, Marcello Buratti, MARIA RODRIGUEZ MUÑOZ, María José Mantilla at Makeat, proving that joining forces takes us further. This project has received European funding under Grant Agreement 101074621, with €1.12 million directly supporting food processing SMEs through the B-Resilient Financial Support to Third Parties Scheme.
