What an inspiring conclusion to our #GHA five-day, four-city #Chicago | #Madison | #Rochester | #Minneapolis USA delegation trip! #Minneapolis On the fourth evening, NAMSA hosted us for a memorable reception in cooperation with Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. NAMSA, a global leader in medical research and regulatory solutions, provided the perfect backdrop for networking with key contacts, fostering valuable exchanges within the medical community. The evening began with an insightful presentation on NAMSA’s expertise and impact in the field, followed by a fascinating lab tour, giving us a first-hand look at their cutting-edge research facilities and processes. Thank you to our Honorary Consul for Germany Barbara Mueller for welcoming us in cold but very beautiful Minnesota. Gabrielle Gerbaud | Chris Rupp | Elise Buchen | Dan Grewe | Norma Brenne Henning, J.D. | Christina Pecoraro On the 5th day our journey led us to the University of Minnesota Campus, where we explored the Earl E. Bakken Medical Devices Center, UMN. This hub of innovation showcased groundbreaking developments in medical technology, inspiring us with its forward-thinking approach. We also had the privilege of engaging with Minnesota's Medical Alley, the leading health innovation and care organization. Peder Hatling introduced us to the region's dynamic ecosystem. An other highlight was a discussion with Hubert H. Lim from the Institute for Engineering in Medicine, University of Minnesota, offering fresh perspectives on interdisciplinary medical advancements. The day continued at the Minnesota Innovation Exchange (MIX), where we were welcomed by Pat Mascia and Amy Kircher. This dynamic real estate project creates outstanding opportunities to support innovation in healthcare and foster impactful developments for the future. To conclude the delegation, we toured the National Marrow Donor Program Inc (NMDP), a remarkable organization committed to connecting patients with life-saving bone marrow and cord blood transplants. Their work truly underscores the importance of innovation in healthcare. After a whirlwind five days packed with unforgettable encounters and meaningful insights, we leave energized and ready to build on the connections established. As we look toward 2025, we’re excited about the collaborations and initiatives that will emerge from this productive journey.
