Honoring a Remarkable Career: Janice Schapler Retires After 47 Years of Service After 47 years of combined service, Janice Schapler, one of our beloved housekeepers, has retired from BCMH. Earlier this week, we gathered to honor her and thank her for her unwavering dedication to our hospital. Janice began her journey with us as a candy striper, then served as a CNA for over eight years. Following a brief period when several hospital staff were laid off, Janice returned to BCMH, where she dedicated the next 39 years to the housekeeping department. In her retirement speech, Janice reflected on the relationships she’s built over the years: “I’ve formed a lot of relationships I’ll keep for a lifetime, and I care about each one of you. I wish you all the best, and I hope this hospital thrives going forward.” Janice’s work ethic, dedication, and warm spirit have been a cornerstone of our hospital community. While she will certainly be missed, we are grateful for her service and wish her all the best in this next chapter of life. Congratulations, Janice! 🌸 #EmployeeRecognition #ThankYouJanice #HealthcareHeroes #CareerMilestones #BCMH #Retirement #LegacyOfService
