Celebrate the Big and Little Moments This #NationalMentoringMonth! 💚 Mentorship is life-changing, and this month, we’re celebrating the incredible bonds between our Bigs and Littles. These relationships are a testament to the power of guidance, friendship, and support. 🫶 ✨ Meet Little Alisa and Big Mercy! ✨ "I had the privilege of being a Big Sister to Alisa Jones from 2021 to 2024. Our relationship developed gradually but grew into a beautiful and meaningful bond—one where I often felt I learned more from Alisa than she did from me! Throughout our time together, Alisa frequently reached out and slowly but surely opened up to me. During high school, she was enrolled as a dual-enrollment student at Miami Dade College. As an employee of the college, I was uniquely positioned to support her with both academic challenges related to being a college student and personal guidance as she navigated the transition to completing high school. Alisa is a talented writer with a gift for learning new languages, and her kindness and compassion shine through in everything she does. I am incredibly proud to share that Alisa graduated this past May (2024) with both her high school diploma and an associate in arts degree from Miami Dade College—an incredible accomplishment!
