We hosted our annual holiday party, bringing together our Bigs, Littles, and the broader community to celebrate the season of giving. This year, we proudly partnered with HHS PRV for the Risk Less. Do More. campaign, offering flu, COVID-19, and RSV vaccinations to insured attendees. This collaboration not only provided essential health services but also raised awareness about the importance of safeguarding our community against these illnesses. We were thrilled to engage and educate over 300 attendees through this meaningful initiative. Learn more about protecting yourself and your loved ones from respiratory illnesses. For the third year in a row, we're thrilled to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami’s Holiday Party with a meal donation. Giving back is at the core of who we are, and it's even more meaningful when we join forces with Burger King to support organizations that make an impact in our community through education.
We hosted our annual holiday party, celebrating the season of giving with our Bigs, Littles, and the community. Attendees enjoyed a festive day filled with games, entertainment, and holiday cheer. We were thrilled to welcome 334 attendees and share the joy of the season by distributing toys to those in need. This year, we also partnered with HHS PRV to provide free flu, COVID-19, and RSV vaccinations. This collaboration offered critical health services and raised awareness about the importance of protecting our community from these illnesses. Our holiday party wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of key donors, including Nikki Spoelstra, Ecom Authority, The Salvation Army, Burger King, Engineering Contractors Association, Epic Hotel, ExxonMobil Retirement Group, Sasha Lindo-Santamaria, Super Kids, The Pilates Place, and Wendy's . Meet Allan Prindle , Board Member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami and President & Chief Executive Officer of Power Financial Credit Union! What do you love most about Miami? "Such a wonderful community to raise my three children in—multicultural, thriving, and full of endless opportunities for enriching life experiences." How do you like to spend your weekends? "For relaxation, you can find me either rowing my single scull out of the Miami Beach Rowing Club boathouse, enjoying the serenity of dawn on Indian Creek, or working on one of the cars in my vintage sports car collection in my home garage." Can you share something about yourself that would surprise most people? "Back in the late '70s, before large sound systems and DJs became a fixture at sporting events, I was the bass player for the New England Patriots' "house band," which played live at every home game during lulls in the action." What's the best piece of advice you've ever received? "My father always instilled in me that, whether in business or life, there is no progress without failure, and each failure is a valuable lesson." What's been the most rewarding part of serving on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami board? "Interacting with a tremendous group of people who are helping children achieve their full potential and giving back to the Miami community that has been so good to me has been incredibly rewarding."
