The spotlight shone brightly on Dr. Harrison Nnaji, who received the coveted title of Outstanding Individual of the Year. His achievements inspire a new generation of cybersecurity professionals. Excitement filled the room as Elizabeth Ekedoro was celebrated as the Rising Star of the Year. Elizabeth's recognition reflects the bright future that emerging talents bring to the field. Lagos State was celebrated as the State Government of the Year, applauded for its proactive measures in advancing cybersecurity policies that protect its citizens. The competition was fierce, but CyberPlural emerged victorious as the Cyber Startup of the Year, recognized for its innovative solutions that are revolutionizing the cybersecurity landscape. The accolades continued as the Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Crime Center was named MDA of the Year, a testament to its unwavering commitment to combatting cybercrime. In the financial sector, FirstBank of Nigeria was crowned Financial Institution of the Year, recognized for its exemplary cybersecurity protocols that ensure client safety. A moment of pride resonated as Dr Iretioluwa Akerele was awarded Cybersecurity Woman of the Year, shining a light on her groundbreaking contributions to the industry. The role of media in cybersecurity was highlighted as Arise TV received the Media House of the Year award for its unwavering commitment to raising awareness. Federal University of Technology Akure stood out as the University of the Year, celebrated for its dedication to nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. In the realm of secure transactions, Moniepoint Nigeria was honored as the Payment Service Provider of the Year, recognized for its unwavering commitment to redefining safe digital payments. The grand finale recognized Digital Encode Limited as the Organisation of the Year, a beacon of leadership in cybersecurity solutions. The night wasn’t just about the awards. Our lively MC kept the audience engaged with humor and charisma, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the DJ set the perfect tone, filling the room with energy.
