Meet Pete Dion, our Production Supervisor who has been with us for 4 years! Pete leads the team that monitors gas pressures and regulations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. What Pete loves most about his role is interacting with the technicians and getting out into the field. Outside of work, Pete enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and making memories with his kids.

Meet Corey Gaherty, a Production Utility Technician 1 who plays a key role in regulating gas pressure in our system. Corey’s favorite part of the job is the variety—every day brings something new and different! When he’s not working, Corey enjoys spending time with his daughter and family, and you can often find him outdoors hunting and fishing.

Meet Salvador Alcala, our dedicated Senior Engineering Technician at Berkshire Gas! With four years of service, Salvador plays a crucial role in preparing and designing construction plans for gas main services and regulator stations across our service territory. When he’s not ensuring our infrastructure runs smoothly, Salvador loves spending quality time with his daughter and indulging in his passion for woodworking and cabinetry.

Meet Brian Boudreau, a dedicated Senior Engineering Technician at Berkshire Gas, where he has been making a difference for the past three years. He excels in preparing, designing, and assembling construction plans for main services and regulator stations. When he’s not at work, Brian is a local hero, serving as a volunteer firefighter. He also loves four-wheeling, camping, and spending quality time with his dogs. 🐾 Join us in celebrating Brian’s contributions both at work and in the community!

At Berkshire Gas, the #safety of our team is our highest priority. This commitment shone brightly at our annual Safety Day event, where numerous dedicated employees participated in hands-on equipment demonstrations, ergonomic exercises, and comprehensive classroom training. They gained valuable insights into gas safety, proper equipment use, and effective strategies to mitigate workplace hazards. We are proud to continually prioritize the health and safety of our workers, ensuring they are always prepared to respond quickly and effectively in any situation.

Meet Damien Wimpenney, an Adam’s Service Technician who has been a part of our team for two years! Damien handles critical tasks like responding to gas leaks, pipe fitting, meter changes, and leak surveys. But what he loves most is interacting with our customers and seeing them happy with our services—it’s what makes his job truly rewarding. When he’s not on the job, you can find Damien enjoying the great outdoors through hunting and fishing.

Meet Lisa, a dedicated Customer Care Supervisor at BGC. Lisa manages a team of five supervisors and nearly 50 agents who are on the frontlines, helping customers with their questions and concerns. She takes pride in supporting her team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver the highest quality of service. When she’s not at the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends and hiking in the beautiful Berkshires. She also dedicates a great deal of time to volunteering with Elder Services of the Berkshires, who were a tremendous help to her when her mother was ill. “They were such a big help to me when my mother was ill; I could not have navigated the necessary resources without their assistance,” said Lisa. “I have a plaque at my desk that states ‘Always Be Kind.’ I try to follow that and remember it in everything I do, and my hope is that it resonates with everyone I come in contact with.” Join us in celebrating Lisa and all our fantastic team members who make a difference every day! 🎉

Meet Brian Spencer, a valued member of our Production team at Berkshire Gas Company. For the past five years, Brian has dedicated himself to maintaining our gas system equipment and ensuring safe and efficient operations. Outside of work, Brian enjoys aviation, snowboarding, mountain biking, and restoring classic cars.

Our team is proud to be part of the new Holiday Inn Express construction in Pittsfield. We are installing natural gas service to support the facility’s pool and spa heating, domestic hot water, and clothes drying, ensuring safe and reliable service for guests. We are grateful to support this new development and contribute to our community’s economic growth, as the hotel will create new jobs and attract visitors. Thank you to everyone who partnered with us on this project. We look forward to the hotel’s grand opening soon.
