Join us as we reflect on our journey and accomplishments! 🌟 Q1: Lifting Hands International Hygiene Kits 🌟 15 BBF employees packaged hygiene kits for conflict areas like Gaza and Ukraine, donating toothpaste and deodorant. 💉 Q2: ARUP Blood Drive at BBF 💉 We hosted a mobile blood drive at the BBF office with 24 participants. 💖 Q3: Lakeridge Senior Living Service Day 💖 Our team moved a resident, prepared a room, provided manicures, and purchased a vacuum cleaner for Lakeridge Senior Living. 🍲 Q4: Generosity Feeds – 4,000 Meals 🍲 30 BBF employees assembled 4,000 nutritious meals for local school children in need, donated to Mountain View High School and other local schools. Thank you to Connor Jensen and his team for visiting us at our Lindon office. It was a pleasure showing them around our facilities and sharing the inside scoop on Betterbody Foods.
Last week I was able to work with BetterBody Foods & Nutrition to allow multiple local businesses to go on a tour of the BetterBody Foods facility in Lindon Utah. I’ve been so impressed with companies (like BetterBody Foods) who are willing to let others come through their company and be vulnerable. They share things like what they have learned, how they have gotten successful, and even where they have self identified a few improvements need to be made. So often in business, companies and owners are worried that if the world sees them as anything but perfect their brand and business will come crashing down. OR that if they share how they have become successful they will lose their competitive edge. We try to build our defensive walls so high that no one from the outside can see in. I’ve learned that my respect is actually higher for companies that openly share that they are trying to improve and realize they aren’t perfect. BetterBody Foods & Nutrition is a phenomenal company and I have learned tons interacting with them and seeing all their strengths (they also have delicious products like PBfit)! I have probably learned even more by seeing that they don’t let their strengths blind them to improvements. Obviously there is propriety information that shouldn’t be shared by organizations. But I’ve seen that allowing outsiders to tour your facility brings a level of pride to a company and its employees that encourages everyone to seek answers to issues. Improvements speed up when employees take pride in what they do. If you haven’t checked out the products that BetterBody Foods makes I encourage you to! Thank you to Aaron Jenkins, Adelia Esseltine, SPHR, Jacob Hendrikse, and Stephen Richards for making this happen! Thanks also to iMpact Utah Utah Manufacturers Association Robin Patfield And everyone else who came! If you’re a manufacturer and interested in having your facility toured, or going on tours of other companies let me know. We are getting a group together to do these more often here in Northern Utah County and Southern Salt Lake Valley.
