It took us under a minute (47 seconds to be exact) to implement this Kirby inspired tilt-and-roll controller using Sidekick. Prototypes are literally seconds — and a query — away. Sidekick can now directly add and modify components like rigidbodies and physics materials to your objects. To accomplish this, we expanded Sidekick's toolkit to include Unity's full library of components so game designers can set up a complete and functional system almost instantaneously. Sidekick is way more than just a chatbot — it's aware of your project, packages, prefabs, and all, and uses these insights to deliver custom help in-context for building your game. We’ve been playing a lot of Marvel Rivals, so we felt inspired to build Dr. Strange’s portals with Sidekick, and paid homage to the OG that popularized it. Sidekick is currently in early access and is free to try! Sign up for the waitlist here: https://lnkd.in/geA5XQ5e

Game developers and designers have historically communicated with game engines through code - until today. Sidekick enables a new way to build games through natural language. Our designers used custom models, animations, and VFX from Maya and Procreate to build her own version of Overcooked and prompted Sidekick to implement cooking mechanics, movement controls, UI, and particle effects. Sidekick handled the coding and scripting, linking everything together to transform a simple layout into a fully playable experience. Register for early access: https://lnkd.in/geA5XQ5e

Suddenly developing games with Unity works the way I always hoped it would. Bezi Sidekick lets you create by speaking directly to unity telling the agent what you want. It’s a little bit like magic.
Prototype and validate new game mechanics and concepts in just a few seconds - no coding or developer assistance required. We put this to the test by using Sidekick to quickly recreate the hit game Superhot, from the “time moves when you move” mechanic to the enemy’s ragdoll reactions, except a snowball version to fit the season. Check out SuperCold! 👇

Here’s what an Avatar the Last Airbender game might look like, inspired by Breath of the Wild! 👇 We originally wanted to recreate Link’s Paraglider mechanics, but our designer had the idea to put a creative twist on it with another character that uses a glider, Aang. Most of this demo was done by simply prompting Sidekick, which allowed us to put it together in about an hour. Here’s everything that Sidekick was able to do: 🏃➡️ Add WASD movement controls 💨 Set up glider physics and windstream trail effects 🎨 Integrate local assets and animations from Sketchfab & Mixamo ✨ Create custom toon shaders 📸 Set up mouse-based camera controls Soon, game designers and developers will be able to rapidly prototype their ideas and original concepts with tools like Sidekick that lower the technical barriers to game creation. This will enable them to focus on art, gameplay, mechanics, and refinement and deliver more unique experiences. Join the Sidekick waitlist: www.bezi.com/sidekick

Huge thanks to Bezi for inviting me to be a part of the secret Beta round for their groundbreaking tool: Bezi Sidekick! 💡 For those who haven’t heard of it yet, Bezi Sidekick is embedded directly into Unity, and helps generate interactions without the usual coding struggles. To put Bezi Sidekick to the test, I created a fun Fruit Ninja game demo in Unity, showcasing how intuitive and powerful this tool really is. What I’m excited about Bezi Sidekick: ✅ Designers can now focus on creativity over technical hurdles. ✅ It drastically improves efficiency in AR/VR and gaming projects in Unity. And a special thank you to Julian Park for the patient demo session and for guiding me through the onboarding process! Check out the video attached to see it in action!

Experimenting with Bezi to prototype some of my spatial interactions on-device. As with my 3D animation explorations, I wanted to keep these short and quick while learning new prototyping techniques. The goal was to quickly experiment with different inputs, movements, and behaviors to interact with 3D content in space. Bezi provides an intuitive set of prototyping features that require no coding. The more I worked on these experiments, the more I found ways to creatively use each feature for building more complex interactions. Even though they’re not perfectly refined, building these quick prototypes really helps test and communicate potential experiences in spatial computing beyond 2D screens. It’s been fun doing these quick explorations to explore new immersive tools and techniques. 🙂 #xr #spatialcomputing #bezi #design

IN JUST FIVE MINUTES, we built the components of a new open-world fast travel mechanic. Inspired by the mechanics of Portal and the parallel world-structure of Legend of Zelda: Link To The Past, we want to create a “ripple in space”. We built first-person character controls, interactive portals, and a dynamic shader in Unity using Sidekick to prototype. Testing new gameplay concepts is infinitely easier and faster now with the help of AI. Join the Sidekick waitlist: www.bezi.com/sidekick
