We've got big news! 📰 At BioCraft we're idealists, who imagine a world where we can feed our pets real meat without having to harm other animals. But we're also pragmatists, and know that this can only happen at scale if the numbers add up.💲 So our science team has been working hard with the pet food industry, in our lab, and with some pretty advanced AI modelling towards a major milestone, which I'm now very happy to announce: Our BioCrafted meat has reached price parity with premium traditional meat for pet food. 🎉 You'll see some stories about it in the news over the next few days. Great clarity from the European Commission about cultivated meat regulation. Basically unless determined otherwise, cultivated meat does not need any special approvals. This is great clarity for a nascent industry that has the potential to radically improve the health of people, animals, and the planet while not asking carnivores to sacrifice anything. 🥩 Although at BioCraft we only make cultivated meat for our furry pet friends, this is great news for our people friends and fellow cultivated founders. 💯 Here's the play-by-play about how this came together and what it means.👇
