Since its launch shortly after October 7th, Birthright Israel's volunteer program has brought nearly 9,000 volunteers from around the world to Israel. Joanna, featured in this video, is a young Jewish adult from Poland. She was part of a volunteer group led by long-time staffer and advocate for Birthright Israel's Russian-speaking trips and programs, Gary Suharik. Because of the ongoing workforce shortage, without dedicated volunteers like Joanna, much of the food grown in Israel’s fields would go to waste. Birthright Israel invites Jewish adults ages 18-50 to join the movement and support Israel’s recovery efforts. Learn more about volunteering in Israel: https://lnkd.in/dZuvqSgi

Birthright Israel Foundation has officially launched its winter season with a significant milestone. For the first time since the events of October 7, participants are returning to northern regions of Israel, reigniting connections with the country’s diverse cultural and historical landscapes.
