Interim Executive Vice President Shantel Upshaw Houston, PharmD led an “Ask a Pharmacist” booth at Black Health Matter’s Fall Health Summit & Expo in Charlotte, NC. Black Health Connect (BHC) is a digital and physical hub for Black Healthcare Professionals, and Black Health Matters (BHM) is a health promotion and disease management platform dedicated to serving the diverse needs of consumers, patients, and healthcare professionals. I’m super honored to have received the 2024 Community Impact Award at the Women of Color in Pharma (WOCIP) Annual Meeting. The love was palpable in the room and I was grateful to share kudos with several other prestigious and impactful women leaders in health care!
