Humanoid robots is the next automation frontier (and we’re part of the pioneers) After industrial robots, humanoid robots are becoming a reality. It’s a market that’s expected to reach $66 billion by 2032, says one report. As an example, Agility Robotics’ Digit has already been deployed in warehouses in the US. Here it helps bridge the gap between automation islands. The advancements we’re making are helping industries like logistics, healthcare and hospitality become more efficient and safer. We’re convinced that metal AM can help deliver tangible value. For this reason, we recently topology optimized and printed robot parts like shoulder brackets, sternums, and finger joints. Here’s the next step in our journey with Airbus ✈️ Since 2018, we’ve been a certified supplier to Airbus. Trusted to produce high-quality metal components for the A330.  Now, we’re expanding that partnership with the Airbus A320. BLT has been selected to manufacture O-ring seals using our BLT-S400 printer and our proprietary superalloys. O-rings are a critical part in an airplane. They seal systems like hydraulics, engines and pressurized cabins. So why 3D print them? We’re making headway in West Africa with our AM partner ⚡ Today, we signed a letter of intent with our partner in Nigeria, RusselSmith, to jointly develop their additive manufacturing activities in West Africa. RusselSmith has already made significant strides into providing regional industries with additive manufacturing. With the signed letter of intent, we are bolstering their efforts. With this deeper partnership, we aim to jointly: ☑ Boost local industries with innovative AM applications    ☑ Improve access to high-quality additively manufactured parts    ☑ Build visibility for AM solutions in the region    ☑ Strengthen RusselSmith’s expertise with consultancy and training And as part of this collaboration, RusselSmith will invest in a BLT-S400 system, helping to drive industrial innovation and competitiveness.
