We are pleased to announce that BWM CEO Robert Kang will be speaking on 'The Race for Resources' at the 2024 Halifax International Security Forum (HFX), taking place this weekend, November 22-24, in Nova Scotia, Canada. Blue Whale Materials LLC is working to strengthen lithium-ion battery supply chains in North America by producing a US source of critical minerals including cobalt, nickel and lithium from recycled batteries. We are honored to contribute to this significant dialogue advancing democracy and security with world leaders. #HFX2024

Partner highlight 📢 As part of our Expansion Project, Blue Star Recyclers and James Emmett and Company will help us to create jobs for people with disabilities and from the inclusive community. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s $55M grant to Blue Whale Materials brings significant economic growth to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a historic Energy Community. The expansion is expected to create 150 permanent jobs and 180 construction jobs, boosting local employment in Bartlesville and contributing to the state's sustainable growth. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently selected Blue Whale Materials for a $55 million grant to support a $110 million expansion of our Bartlesville, Oklahoma battery recycling facility. Blue Whale strategically chose this location for various factors, including the state's pro-business environment and commitment to clean energy, and the robust infrastructure present in the Bartlesville region. Blue Whale is grateful to Governor Kevin Stitt and the Executive Office of the Governor of Oklahoma for their continued support of our operations. Governor Stitt expressed support for this project, "The State of Oklahoma welcomes this additional investment to expand the Blue Whale Materials li-ion battery recycling plant in Bartlesville.
