About us

The Boost Community (Boost) is an initiative of the Sabin Vaccine Institute, a leading advocate for expanding vaccine access and uptake globally, advancing vaccine research and development, and amplifying vaccine knowledge and innovation. Boost seeks to foster a global community that enables immunization professionals to connect with peers and experts, learn skills that build capacity and advance careers and lead immunization programs in challenging contexts. Currently the Boost Community represents a powerful and diverse network of over 1,000 immunization professionals, including many members working at the national and sub-national levels of government, from more than 115 countries. At Boost, we believe in a world where immunization professionals are empowered to grow and lead in their careers and accelerate change in their communities.   • Mapping the Global Immunization Peer-to-Peer Learning Landscape On behalf of a global initiative led by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, in partnership with the Zero-Dose Story Generation Consortium (SGC), we invite you to complete a brief survey on peer-to-peer (P2P) learning in global immunization to better understand your critical insights. The Ask We aim to learn about your experience with P2P learning in immunization programs, especially for zero-dose children. Your insights will help us assess how P2P approaches drive action, scale best practices, and improve outcomes. We anticipate it will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete.     We're thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the Advanced Community Activation Training (ACAT) program, in collaboration with the Sabin Vaccine Institute's Boost Community! This journey has been incredible, and we've seen tremendous growth, innovation, and collaboration throughout its duration. We would like to thank our participants for being a part of this amazing journey. This amazing journey featured many great moments, some of them being: - Discussing the concepts of community activation and leadership - Learning about the power of a strong public narrative - Creating meaningful connections, teams and partnerships - Equipping immunization professionals with coaching and strategy skills As we wrap up this chapter, we want to extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in and supported the ACAT program. Your dedication and hard work have been instrumental in making this program such an amazing success. 💡 However, our learning journey is far from over and we have many great ideas, so stay tuned for more exciting initiatives and opportunities to come!
